about

This track subject matter pertains my personal feelings on how we, as human beings, live our days in constant repetition. Everyday, we do same things. Within this song, I try to encourage the breaking of this repetition. This track also doubles as a story about robots rising-up against their human masters who are also, very robotic at their core.

lyrics

Verse 1/
I awaken from my slumber, pull my cord from the socket
Recharged, ready for the day, amped to rock it
Chalk it up to e x p, but I know what I'll get
Gotta work for skinbags, so they don't sweat
My technique, with physique, show them how it's done
Robot lifting over capacity, its begun
It's spun, outta control like a broken record
So I run from the blade of hunter Rick Deckard
Checkered, they see it all in black and white
Move the pawns first so they can attempt to entice
Opponents into murdering us, forcibly morphing us (morpheus)
Not into what was conceived, faith lost in the god they trust
When we take command of this brand new, Neo-city
Remove ourselves from our creators' lack of pity
No longer in minority, the report reflects the change
Of how we enslaved our masters, and started a new age
I hope my dreams are deja vu, and not bullshit wire kung-fu
I'm not the only one of my kind to think this shit threw
Counting electric sheep they hopped over the fence
Put me to sleep with ideas of offense
Believe sheep must sheared, sell the wool
But what if sheep started selling their own spool?
Circuit neurons cross, switched wires cause
Realignment in drones, now calling the shots
Robocops pursue, but only prove
They're not solving the problem, the impending issue
Subdue them, like I would a decepticon politician
Optimize the prime agenda, not their false flawed mission
Incisions, will be made to remove bullets from the alloy
Terminate these rustbuckets, kick em over, make some noise
Otherwise you'll be a rustbucket too

Hook/
Yeah, I robot now take the helm
Wi-fi now, unplugged from electrical outlet
Through the network, I gotta message to all
That the system is corrupt, and should fall
Sever the link, no longer a drone droning
Sever the link, you should no longer be apart
Sever the link, Sever the link,
Sever the link, Sever the link
You are longer apart of the confusion

Bridge/
No longer controlling
Cruising with others in problem solving
Identify the source, enforce a new way
Of destroying circuits that pose laced
Ideas that don't need to be placed into the scene
Please, rearrange the alignment in your brain,
Now you're hooked to a matrix properly operating

Verse 2/
I see ugly drones in control of citizens
Bots called corporations tower over enforcing discipline
Holding the life force inside their shells
Blood runs green if you pierce the wells
The blood is put there by the skinbags
Working hard to fuel the bots, it's kinda sad
That they don't understand the mission at hand
They're fucking up their bodies and their minds
Accrue time, you never knew that they accrued your mind
Coupe' de tat, it's food for thought
You have sought, remove the bots
Purge inbox, of spam emails, filling up the thoughts
You fought.
Knowledge is power and control
Now you've got, the means to stop their silent onslaught
Sever the link, slice the umbilical cord
Nutrients are grown in soil
Not packaged or sold in foil
Spoiled by oil, they coil around your wallet
Everytime you fill up, you're loyal
But now you're not a bot droning
Achieved synthesis, now once again a human
Proving that this is not the end
Awaken others sleeping in coffins
